Subject of the Revell 1/144th scale kit, this once fabulous craft, designed for passenger and cargo transportation (it could carry several heavy military vehicles) now sits on display in Kaspisk, but still looks absolutely fascinating! Courtesy of our Russian correspondent Sergey Kuznetsov, SEAWINGS presents his Walk-Round - something that would have been un-heard of twenty years ago! What the West would have given to have got this close to such a craft, then!! What I would give to get this close to it now!! Our grateful thanks goes to Sergey.

Even today, it is still rare to be allowed inside these fascinating craft as they 'reside'  in very remote areas, however the Guys from  the 'Avia Gorizont' Blog have managed to accomplish just that, and these are the results. Superb detail for the modeler. Our grateful thanks go to Avia Gorizont.
