the ONLY
surviving Shetland plans in the world.
They are all that remain after a massive
'clear-out' of the files from Shorts Bros in
order to make room for more modern stuff. They
were, to quote a Shorts employee, "Just
dumped and burned, along with many other
priceless artifacts covering the Golden Age of
flying boats". What a complete
waste.............. However,
