One of the two surviving airframes is this one on display at the Pima County Air Museum, USA which I photographed some years ago prior to it being re-painted. Leaving it in natural metal afforded the opportunity to see some airframe details that are otherwise difficult to see against the dark blue paintwork. In the past couple of years it has been refurbished and re-painted in a smart authentic scheme and the latter part of this gallery has been generously donated by Fotios Rouch and Howard Mason. You will notice that the bomb doors are no longer open, so my older detail photos are of even more significance for modelers now that there are two 1/72nd kits available. Once again, thanks Fotios and Howard. |
