Put
simply, 25 years ago this walk-round would have been absolutely impossible
to have accomplished. Getting this close to what was then a very
highly secret Russian project without the highest level of State security
passes (and probably a whole lot more) would have got you into an awful
lot of trouble. Now today, it lies dormant and the 'Caspian Sea Monster'
is no more; well, that is unless your name is Igor Kolokolov and you
happen to have contacts in 'high-places' and you just happen to be an
expert photographer at the same time! The 'Lun' is now laid up but is
still out-of-bounds to most people - it is not an 'attraction' that one
can just turn up and visit. However, Igor obtained the necessary
clearance and the results are here for all to see. And, what a job he has
done; not content with going around the exterior, he gained access to the interior
and now for the first-time ever we can see all the details. So, here
we present Igor's 159 stunning images of one of the most fantastic,
futuristic craft that ever flew. Put
simply, Wow!
Igor, our most grateful
thanks goes to you for allowing SEAWINGS to share and publish these
images.
