Albatross resides at what must be one of the finest aircraft museums
in the World -
Pima County Air Museum, Arizona,
recently visited by our long-time Russian correspondent
Igor Kolokolov
who shot this 29 image walk-round and very kindly donated its use to
SEAWINGS. Pima County is an amazing place, situated right next door to Davis-Monthan AFB - itself a massive, fascinating 'bone-yard' aircraft storage area, full of aircraft parked in long rows. But, the museum has to be 'the' place to visit, packed with aircraft types from around the world and really is a 'bucket-list' visit for any serious enthusiast; I was extremely fortunate to visit there some time ago and was blown-away by the sheer size and capacity of it; it's a minimum two day visit to do it all justice.
