Grumman G-21A Goose - U.S.C.G.-V176
g
Once again on his travels long-time correspondent Alex Norton once again pulled in to the car park of the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum, McMinnville, Oregon, USA and this time around took this lovely walk-round of the beautiful Grumman G-21A Goose on display there, restored and presented in the colours of a WWII U.S.C.G. JRF-5A which scale modellers of a 'certain age' amongst you will spot are the markings of the original 1/72 scale Airfix plastic kit when it was originally released.

Alex has done a cracking job with his camera, just look at all the rivets and skin detail here; very useful for a large scale model.

If you are wondering what that wopping great big wing is above this Goose, it is in-fact another goose - the 'Spruce Goose'..! And if you look through the walk-rounds Gallery you will find another stunning photo set on this airframe also shot by Alex..!

My grateful thanks goes to Alex once again for a stunning photo set.
