I bet you didn't expect this.....No, it's not an April Fool, mind you it's close...! This, believe it or not, is all that remains of the magnificent Dornier Do-X on display in the Deutsches Technik Museum, Berlin and therefore the best walk-round you are going to get!. At least you can get the details of the propeller and the engine correct now. Incidentally, it's interesting to gauge the size of the flying boat by the outline of a crew member. Boy, was that big! Must have been an almighty sight flying overhead in those days. What I'd give to see one in a museum today.
