This is how to do a walk-round.

When you pay a visit to the Russian Air Force Museum located near Moscow at Monino, and you have total access to all the exhibits displayed there - more so than the 'average' visitor - and when you are carrying a digital camera and arrive at the Beriev Be-12 'Mail' flying boat on display, then a very special walk-round and - in this case, a very special walk-through - is the result, especially if you are Igor Kolokolov, our Russian correspondent.

Here, Igor presents 200 superbly detailed images, the result of a very close-up examination of this particular exhibit. Wow, and double-wow! What I would have given to have done this myself but the next best thing is to have Igor to very kindly provide it for us. Thanks, Igor.

With the exterior covered, it was time to enter the interior; OMG ! Just look at all this interior, what detail and what a structure...! Each image repays very careful attention of all the myriad of details contained within it.
